2026 Playoffs Ice Projection

This ice projection is a round by round progress of the Colorado Avalanche in the 2026 Playoffs. This animation shows the teams that were beat each round leading up to the Western Conference Final. This ice projection was played before puck drop during the Western Conference Final games.

Entirely made in Cinema 4D using spline tools/masks to create the outline animation. The final spline was extruded to create the shape of the rink. A voronoi fracture was used to break the ice apart and fields helped drive the completed animation.
